Dear Homeowners,
Each year your Homeowner’s Association has an annual meeting. This year’s meeting will be held on
WEDNESDAY, MAY 29, 2024, AT 6:00PM AT LIFESPRING COMMUNITY CHURCH LOCATED AT 174 N STAR ROAD, STAR, ID 83669.
Your Governing Documents state that you must have representation of at least 30% of your members to
establish a quorum. This would mean that you need either 164 lots represented in person or by proxy to establish a quorum and hold a proper meeting.
Registration at this year’s meeting of Members will begin at 5:30pm. You will be given one ballot per residence/lot.
A proxy has been sent out to all Members along with official notification. If you are unable to attend the
meeting, we encourage Members to complete and return your proxy to CAM Property Management at
least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the date of the meeting, but no later than 5:00pm on Tuesday, May
28, 2024. For your convenience, you may also deliver your proxy to the onsite manager at the
community center during staffed hours. Please refer to the instructions you will receive on the proxy
form. NO PROXIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5:00PM ON TUESDAY, MAY 28, 2024.
This proxy may be used to establish a quorum only or can be used to designate the assignee the power
to vote on your behalf. Be sure to initial the appropriate line listed on the proxy form. Every proxy shall
be revocable at the pleasure of the Member who executed the proxy and shall automatically cease after
completion of the meeting of which the proxy was filed, if filed for a particular meeting.
There are 4 seats up for election at this year’s annual meeting. They are as follows:
Two directors for a full 3-year term.
One director for a 2-year term. (Initial term – 2023-2026)
One director for a 1-year term. (Initial term – 2022-2025)
If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please fill out the included interest/nomination from included and return it to us by email at info@campmid.com or by mail to: CAM Property Management, 3597 E Monarch Sky Lane, Suite 240, Meridian, ID 83646 by May 17, 2024, to be included on the printed ballot. There will be a time at the meeting where you can nominate yourself or another person from the floor. If this happens, that person can be added to the ballot by Members as a write-in candidate. We will give each candidate 3 minutes to address the Members on why they wish to serve the community as a board member.
Ballots will be cast and counted. Please remember to vote for no more than 4 candidates. Any ballot containing more than 4 votes will be deemed invalid.
Within 10 days of the election, the Board of Directors will meet in an organizational meeting to appoint
the Officers of the Association. Those positions are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer.
